Welcome to the UnityMail Member Control Panel. As a member of an email list created and managed with UnityMail, you can use the Member Control Panel to unjoin the list or to access your list membership settings.

To Unjoin

1.      Click To unsubscribe from this list, click here.

2.      Type your email address.

3.      To unsubscribe immediately, type your UnityMail password.  If you do not provide a password, you will receive a message by email requesting an unjoin confirmation.

4.      Click OK.

To Access the Member Control Panel

1.      Click To access your list membership settings, click here.

2.      Type your email address.

3.      If the Member Control Panel is password-protected, you must enter your UnityMail password.  If you have forgotten your password, a password will be sent to you by email after you click Login.

4.      Click Login.

To Change Your Personal Information

On the Personal Information screen, you can access the information that you or the list manager supplied upon joining the list. If the fields are editable, you can change the information.

1.      If the Personal Information screen is not already displayed, click Personal Info.

2.      Make the necessary changes.

3.      Click Save Changes at the bottom of the screen.

To Change Digest Mode

Digest mode consolidates several messages into one email.  Instead of receiving ten email messages a day, for example, you can select Digest On and receive a longer email message that contains several messages. The manager of the list determines how often digests are delivered.

1.      Click Change List.

2.      Select the list and click Preferences.

3.      Select Digest On to receive messages in digest format. Or, select Digest Off to receive messages one at a time.

4.      Select the delivery email address.

5.      Click OK.

To Send a Message to Your List Manager

1.      Click Change List.

2.      Select the list and click Send Message.

3.      Select Send Message.

4.      In the Subject field, type the subject of your message.

5.      In the Body field, type your message.

6.      Click Send.

To Join Another List

1.      Click Change List.

2.      Select the list you want to join and click Join.

3.      When prompted to confirm, click OK.

To Unjoin

1.      Click Change List.

2.      Select the list you want to unjoin and click Unjoin.  To unjoin from all lists, click Unjoin All.

3.      If you would like to inform the list manager of your reason, type your message in the space provided.

4.      Click OK.

To View an Archive of Messages Sent from this List

1.      Click List Details.

2.      Click Archive.

3.      Type a keyword or phrase that would be contained in the body of the message.

4.      Optional:  To limit the search within a time period, place a check in the box and type the number of days.  For example, if you want to search messages that were sent within the last 5 days, type 5.

5.      Click Search.

6.      Click the Subject to view a particular email message.

To Change Your Email Address

You can select the email address to which you want your email from the list sent.

1.      Click List Details.

2.      If you have more than one email address known to this UnityMail server, you can select an alternate delivery address from the Delivery Email Address drop-down list.

3.      Click OK.

To Add, Edit, or Remove an Alternate Email Address

Because many people have more than one email address, UnityMail lists can accommodate several different addresses.

To add an alternate email address:

1.      Click Alternate Email Addresses to view your aliases.

2.      To add an email alias, click Add. 

3.      Type the new alias, and click OK.

To delete an alternate email address:

1.      Click Alternate Email Addresses to view your aliases.

2.      Select the email alias you want to delete, and click Remove.

3.      When prompted to confirm, click OK.

To edit an alternate email address:

1.      Click Alternate Email Addresses to view your aliases.

2.      Select the email alias you want to edit, and click Edit.

3.      Edit the address, and click OK.

To Change Your Password

Use this option to change your Member Control Panel password. This option is available only if the Member Control Panel has been password-protected by the manager of the list.

1.      Click Change Password.

2.      Type your current password.

3.      Type your new password.

4.      Confirm your new password by reentering it.

5.      Click OK.
